What Every Fitness Trainer and Nutrition “Expert” Doesn’t Get About Dieting

by Stephanie

This post was inspired by a recent comment on this site. It was from a so-called fitness trainer. He made the comment that he didn’t think the diet was healthy and people should instead adopt a “healthy lifestyle”.

Really?

Sigh. I get a comment like this just about weekly. So lets address it now because this is a huge thing that most people don’t understand.

First off, the HCG diet, if done correctly, is incredibly healthy. It’s not a long-term thing and can get you to your goal weight extremely quickly. Now if you tried to do the diet for months or years at a time, you would probably not be very healthy. But it was never designed to be done that long at one time. You split it up into rounds and once you hit your goal weight, you are done. Got it? OK, let’s move on.

Second, people all the time say to eat a “healthy” diet. But have you ever tried to figure out what that is?! No one can agree. And I mean no one! One week wine is good for you, the next it’s bad. Today carbs are OK, but last month they were the culprit in making you fat. Healthy eating is a moving target which you can’t seem to ever hit. Even the food pyramid that we’ve been taught our whole lives is a complete joke.

So what is the solution? Why do so many “experts” say to follow a “healthy” diet instead of doing any other diet?

Well the problem is many of these “experts” have never been fat. They don’t know what it’s like and shame on them for giving advice in this arena. Second, they don’t have a game plan. When you ask them for one they shut up like a clam.

The fact is, the HCG diet works, it’s healthy and can get you to your goal weight quicker than just about anything else besides surgery, but who wants to try a life threatening surgery?

Then once you are off the diet, if you have done the diet correctly, you will have learned how to eat properly for your body. You will have been weighing yourself daily, checking results, making changes, and you will have your own customized game plan. It literally is the most effective technique I’ve ever seen: Get to your goal weight fast, keep track of progress while introducing new food in, watch results, then change what isn’t working. Simple.

It’s the basis of just about every scientific achievement. Try something, look at results, then try something else if you haven’t reached the end result you want, that is, keeping the weight off.

If you pay attention during the HCG diet plan you will notice how to eat. Of course after the diet you will be eating food that isn’t on the protocol, and in much higher quantities. But that’s OK. You know how to eat and what to eat. And once off the diet it’s a lot easier to keep weight off instead of trying to lose it. Maintaining is always easier and much more fun.

So ignore all the “experts” out there who don’t have a logical argument to fall back on. You’ll find many credible experts that love this diet, but they don’t seem to yell as loud as the critics. Never mind. Just get the results you want and ignore the rest.

Sure, you can still do the diet. I know plenty of people who travel who do the diet and do well. You could do shorter 2 week rounds, then when you travel you can be on the maintenance phase, and that’s just avoiding sugar and starches, which would be much easier while traveling. So you can do it, just takes a little bit of planning. Talk with a provider of HCG and they should be able to help you tailor the diet to fit your situation. The main page of this site has a link to who I use. Good luck!
