Liquid HCG Diet- What You Need To Know

by Stephanie

A lot of people do not like injections. Either they don’t trust the one administering it or are reminded of the bad experiences they had when they were young. When not carefully done, it may be painful and can cause lumps and muscle cramps. Others experience nausea, dizziness, and/or vomiting. Injections are also risky because it may cause infection, swelling, and itching from the shots. If you choose to go with the injections, you will need help from your doctor and obtain a prescription. If you think you can do the injections yourself, you will need to learn the proper techniques. If you go with the drops, however, you will only be recommended to contact your doctor or a medical professional before you begin any new diet, especially the HCG diet due to the restricted calories. Many have opted to use the HCG liquid diet drops instead of injections mainly due to the fact that there is no pain involved and there are not any known serious side effects. A clinical study shows that the drops and injections have similar effect when it comes to weight loss.

The Liquid HCG Diet plan is broken into 4 phases. Phase 1 is a bingeing period while taking the HCG drops to prepare the body for the diet. Phase 2 lasts between 20-40 days and is a low calorie strict diet while taking the oral HCD drops 3 times per day. Phase 3 lasts three weeks and the diet moves to a 1,500 calorie diet per day avoiding sugars and starches. Phase 4 lasts three weeks where you are slowly adding back sugars and starches while eating a normal number of calories for your body weight. You can repeat these phases multiple times if you have a significant amount of weight to lose. We have seen clients lose over 100 pounds by repeating these phases.

Proponents of the liquid HCG diet also recommend a water intake of around ten to twelve glasses (about 100-120 ounces worth) per day to lose 1-2 pounds of adipose tissue. Even though your body is burning fat to fulfill its caloric requirements each day, pushing it too hard may not be good for your health so keep exercise to a minimum; walking is the most strenuous thing you should attempt to do.

When you have made up your mind, do your research before buying HCG liquid diet drops as there are many scam artists ready to take advantage of you. Take as much time as you need to verify information about the company, as well as the product. Beware of websites that offer prices that are too good to be true. These are likely not high quality products. Make sure that the company offers a guarantee. The guarantee should be long enough to allow you to truly test the product and ensure they work for you. Always read the fine print. Make sure the website has a toll free phone number and physically call the number. Ask questions during this call. Ask how and where the product was manufactured and if they have a secure online shopping cart. Check the testimonials. Testimonials, however, can easily be made up. There should be some advantages and disadvantages listed.

Can you do the following and still lose the desired weight:

Round 1/Phase1
then
Round1/Phase2
then
Round2/Phase1
then
Round2/Phase2

In other words, can I do Round1/Phase2 back to back and then do Round1/Phase3 since I didn’t lose nearly enough pounds after Round1/Phase2?

Your prompt assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You can go 40 days in a row. Beyond that you need to stop and do maintenance. So never go more than 40 days without doing maintenance for at least 3 weeks before starting a new round.

Hi Stephanie – great tips. I am new to the diet and have a couple of questions. I am Canadian so the options of drops are not as great – what am I looking for to know if I have a good quality product.
My second question – today at lunch I forgot my salad and only had my protein, melba toast and my apple. I have eaten my chicken and melba toast and usually save my apple for in between (I like to still go for a 20 minute walk and need the energy) – do I eat the veggies later when I get home (which will be a couple of hours before dinner – or do I just skip it for today. Thanks for the info.

The place I order from I know ships to Canada, I link to them on the main page of my site. And you can have the food later in the day if you had to skip it earlier. Make sure to get all the food you are allowed as skipping food can cause stalls.
